Lots of our JOADS noted they never get many chances to shoot elimination rounds. So what I am proposing for the STATE JOAD a new format

EJN will again be one distance on one day and elimination on the other. HOwever, with many of our groups having only 2-6 kids, a single elimination event is going to be over in less than an hour. so this is the proposal

SATURDAY 72 arrows at the relevant distance (Juniors 70M, Cadets 60 Metes, Cubs 50 meters and bowman 30 meters)

SUNDAY ROUND ROBIN matches using the SET SYSTEM. (recurves) it is rumored that compounds are going to the set system too-we will use what ever the EJN will use

overall winner will be final placement in the 72 arrow ranking round and the RR.

I am trying to decide to do the same for adults or have a straight FITA

let me know what you want

based on a review of the number of entries we have had in various divisions, we have decided to keep the format the same as last year. Adults-a 2 day FITA with 6 arrow ends both days just like nationals. Recurve archers can shoot the big 80 CM target at 50-I will try to put no more than 3 people on a bale. Compounds will have the individual spots on day two just like nationals

JOADS will shoot the EJN distance (Jr 70, C 60, Cub 50, Bowmen 30) both days.

Thanks Jim. I was going to vote for FITA for the adults anyway. Are you going to bring some registrations to the D900 also?
